How To Make Google HTTPS (Secured SSL) Search Default in Google Chrome?

Google recently announced encrypted Google search over Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). If you want to access the SSL encrypted Google web search page, then point your browsers to https://www.google.com/https://encrypted.google.com/. SSL encrypts the information that travels between your computer and Google secured search service. This encrypted information cannot be read by third parties who may try to access the connection between a searcher’s computer and Google’s servers.

The new Google secured service includes a modified logo to help indicate that you’re searching using SSL and that you may encounter a somewhat different Google search experience, but as always, remember to check the start of the address bar for “https” and your browser lock indicators.

What is Water Retention?

Water retention is also known by its more medical term, edema. This is a condition that results when water leaks into the body tissues from the blood. In normal circumstances, the fluid is drained from the body tissues through the lymphatic system – a network of tubes throughout the body that removes waste and extraneous material, and empties it back into the bloodstream.
Water retention problems arise when fluid is not removed by the lymph system properly, it is retained in the body tissues where it causes swelling (edema). Water retention in the body is most common in the feet and legs, but it can occur in the hands, arms, abdominal cavity (ascites) and around the lungs (known as pulmonary edema).

Types of Water Retention

There are two main categories of water retention, generalized edema and localized edema. Generalized edema refers to swelling that occurs throughout the body while localized edema refers to the swelling in specific parts of the body.

SafetyNet

The Safety Net is a collective of men who are working to stop Date Rape and Intimate abuse.

If the term “Intimate abuse” sounds like it makes no sense, remember that about 83% of all assaults are committed by a family member, friend or dating partner of the person who is attacked. This means that most of the time, when a person is raped, it’s trust that’s used as the weapon- the trust our girlfriends, friends, roommates, wives, family members have in us, the men in their lives.

We’ve decided that it’s time to reclaim that trust – reclaim that responsibility. Men Rape. Men abuse. And men can stop it. This site is about WHY and HOW we should stop it. It’s about why we started going to schools and parks and baseball fields and talking to other people just like us, just regular guys, about how men can start to win back the trust they have lost.

But Who we are? We are everybody. At first we were just a bunch of musicians and artists. We told ourselves that this wasn’t about changing the world, it was just about changing ourselves and being responsible for ourselves one person at a time. But then as more and more guys got involved we figured it out.

That’s how the world gets changed. One at a time.

The Flying car is no longer a fantasy!!!

Traffic jam? This car turns into plane in just 30 secs

London: Fed up with traffic jams? Here’s some good news — ‘the flying car’ is on its way. An American company, Terrafugia Transition, based near Boston, is to soon start manufacturing “the flying cars”, called the Transition Roadable Light Sport Aircraft, which can be transformed from a car to a plane in just 30 seconds.

The Transition can fly at 185kmph and reach 105kmph on the road; on the ground, with its wings tucked up and in, it can fill up with petrol at a normal filling station and fits in an average size garage, the Sunday Express reported.

‘The flying car’ is set to go into production this year and is expected to cost between £125,000 and £160,000, say its developers.

Richard Gersh, of Terrafugia, the US company which makes the vehicle and hopes to sell 200 a year, said: “This is an aeroplane first and foremost. The idea is you can drive it to and from a regulation airport. Fully fuelled, you can fly it for a range of 400 to 450 miles. We have 100 orders so far. There are still some minor changes that need to be made because it has to meet both road and aviation standards. However, we expect to be delivering at the end of this year.”

According to the CEO of the company, they have successfully test-flown ‘the flying car’ as many as 28 times.

“It has been very successful. We have got a very good handling vehicle and our test pilot said that the flights were just remarkably unremarkable — it just flies like a really nice, little airplane,” CEO Carl Dietrich told Canadian TV. He also said that this car would also ease problems for pilots who currently face problems like weather. PTI

FLYING START: The flying car, called the Transition, can fly at 185kmph and reach 105kmph on roads. It can fill up at a normal petrol pump and fits in an average-sized garage

WARREN BUFFETT -- EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW!

On March 5, 2008, Forbes Magazine named Warren Buffett “The World’s Richest Man.” For those who may have heard the name, but aren’t familiar with who he is, Warren Buffett is an American investor, businessman, and philanthropist. He is the CEO and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway and has an estimated net worth of $62 billion.
Nicknamed the “Oracle of Omaha,” Warren Buffett is praised around the world for his investment strategy known as “value investing.” He is also considered quite a frugal individual and despite his wealth, his annual salary from Berkshire Hathaway is only $100,000 (making him the lowest paid executive among the 200 largest companies in the country) and he still lives in the same house in Omaha that he purchased in 1958 for $31,500 (today it is valued at about $700,000).
One of the many things Mr. Buffett is known for is his philanthrophy. He announced a few years ago that he would bequest a sizeable portion of his fortune to charity, with approximately 83% of it earmarked for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
